WELCOME TO THE ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE PULSE SURVEY AT THE HSRC
Dear HSRC colleague
1. TalentLine Consulting Group (‘TalentLine’), a private company and not part of government, has been contracted by the Human Sciences Research Council (the HSRC) to conduct an anonymous survey of the HSRC culture through the active participation of the HSRC employees. To note: this is a short Pulse Survey, as a follow-through following on from the 2024 Culture survey results. It is again an independent survey of your current experience, views, feelings and opinions about working at HSRC, the way things are done in the organisation and about progress made since the 2024 survey results.
2. Your responses are highly valuable and will be used, together with your colleagues’ responses, to evaluate the current-day HSRC culture. It will assist leadership to understand whether any new initiatives that have been implemented, have worked positively towards the desired HSRC culture. The analysis of your responses will point to the current culture strengths, and any potential challenges that may still exist.
3. Thank you for your willingness to complete the questionnaire as honestly and completely as possible. Your answers will be completely confidential. Your name will not be recorded on this questionnaire, so you will remain anonymous. You should therefore feel free to give your honest views and opinions, thereby enhancing the value and data integrity of the survey.
4. Of course, there are no right or wrong answers. It is your own perspective or view that counts. Your completed survey will be automatically and directly submitted to TalentLine. The data will remain with TalentLine even after the survey has closed.
5. If you need any help completing the questionnaire, just contact the TalentLine survey facilitator, Mr André Lombard, at alombard@talentline.co.za or at mobile number 082 555 2424.
The questionnaire consists of two Sections. Section A covers demographical information, and Section B contains the questions.
